How It Works
Please submit any claim or breach of this warranty promptly to Golden West Group of Companies 6115 Gateway Blvd, Edmonton AB, T6H 2H3. Failure to do so could void the warranty. Valid claims will be covered either by replacing or repairing the defective part, or by reimbursement of the purchase, at the discretion of Golden West Exteriors.
To preserve your Golden West Exteriors’ Workmanship Warranty, avoid certain situations that could make it null and void, including working on or altering your new roofing/siding, installing it on improper substrate, etc.
Workmanship warranty does not cover accidents or acts of god, including wind that is over 60 kilometers per hour, hail, tornados, earthquakes, floods, lightning, fire, damage from movement of building, neglect, harmful chemicals, vandalism, or discoloration (due to either air pollution or fading). What it does cover is both defects from the manufacturer as well as workmanship error during installation.
If an owner of the building does not submit a warranty claim in a timely manner after discovering damage, they will not be able to take advantage of the warranty. When a valid warranty claim is made during a warranty period, Golden West Exteriors will either replace or repair the broken part, or reimburse the owner for both the original purchase price as well as the original cost of application (within the first twelve months of the warranty).
